I can't tell you how relieved I am That Megan is home. I was so worried yesterday to read of the sighting near the motorway. Such a great result for a most beautiful Golden.

Wonderful news that Megan is safely home. Many thanks to Sheilagh for liaising with owner and helping with the search. I bet you were glad to get that phone call saying she'd been found!!

e mail from helper:   Hi     Had a phone call from Megan's owner Beryl, been sighted this morning, Sat. on the left side of the M 69, Leicester, near Sapcote, roughly 8 miles from Nuneaton. Anyone out there keep a look out. Beryl has no Internet access at the moment.

Fruitless search, unfortunately - it's a bit difficult when you are virtually on your own and don't really know the area.  One good thing is that there was a positive sighting of Megan from a friend of the owner at around 9.30 this morning in fields near Sapcote - within a couple of miles of where she went missing.

Hi I got the news about Megan from my old friends in Golden Retrievers so the Welsh Springer folk have circulated her details to all members to look out for her. I have also passed on the details to anyone I know who is in area to look out for her. We are thinking of you Beryl.  Come home safely Megan! Spoke with Megan's owners yesterday - there was one possible sighting yesterday evening near the Hinckley Rugby Club.   She went missing on the track off Barwell Lane between Hinckley and Barwell and the possible sighting is near the Golf Club and Burbage Common.  Megan is more likely to come to a quietly spoken female, especially if they have a friendly dog in tow.  Unfortunately I can't get out to help until the weekend but if anyone is in the area please keep your eyes open.  Stay safe Megan.

This lady is on a Golden Retriever list I'm on and is absolutely distraught about Megan. She's been out searching, putting up posters etc. Is there anybody in the area that can help her?
