Sorry Oskar didn't make it safely back, my thoughts are with his adopters who tried their hardest to keep him safe. X

How tragic for this poor little dog. I know the journey they make to get here and it’s so sad to have his little life taken like that. Poor Oskar. You have been so let down (by the rescue) when you should have been starting your new life. Am so sorry little boy.

I am so very sorry, noone could of tried hard than the Owners to get Oskar safe ,thinking of you at this sad time, Run free at the bridge Sweet Oskar , until the time comes when you all meet again xx🌈🌈💜💜

Gilly P..... the Owner was giving no advise on how to help Oskar they had the doors open but dog only wanted to sleep in garden they thought they were doing the right thing and could gradually encorage him inside without force, too many Dogs are coming over with no social skills to cope with home life and its very sad. .Owner loves him very much and once caught will have a private back up with advice and help which should of been put in place in the first stance

The Trapping team are helping plus a lot of locals,and Doglost Kaite Dodd , too far from me but am following ... The owner is devasted and out day and night looking and is very proactive so please no negative responses. Please if you are able and local download a poster or two when you are on your travels ,Thank you praying for a safe return , and no Rescue arnt local xx

Bo - I saw Oskar's poster on a FB page as one of about a dozen dogs that are missing currently that are thought to be PtF dogs - so sad and not one of them on their FB page as missing to help raise awareness. GillyP - if PtF dog then they are supposed to offer RBU, probably say it is more in its comfort zone to be left in the garden as not used to being in a house but that isn't rescue imo!

Pretty sure he’s a pawprints to freedom rescue dog, owner is a member of their adoption page and only joined their group 3 months ago so timings fit in. Obviously not a fact and they usually do post their dogs on here themselves under PPTF.

absolutely do not try to contain this dog. You will terrify him and be at risk of being bitten. Call dog warden if sighted. Owner and rescue are clueless.

Contact made with housemate of owner. Poster added to Lost and Found Dogs Basingstoke and Surrounding Areas page and local Spotted pages. Public asked not to chase or attempt to capture but if dog seen, to contain from a distance. Dog does not have any soft bedding to leave outside and was sleeping in the garden. Owner will leave soft toy in the garden from where the dog escaped in the hope the dog will pick scent up. Advised housemate of owner to let dog warden know. No collar.
