Update 28/08 17.00 from her FB page ""Fabulous news...I have seen Maggie today and she is safe and well.
Perhaps a little more timid as she ran out of view immediately today but she has stayed in her hotspot which is good news.
I stayed close by and cooked a bbq so hopefully the smells will bring her out of hiding and she will have a good feed.
Tomorrow will be working on a getting a bigger trap to the sight as the one currently in place is not working."""

"Maggie Border Terrier Update.
Some of you are asking for updates on Maggie so I would like to share where we are up to.
It has gone quiet because I do seem to have finally caught up with Maggie and with the help of her owner Dawn, appear to have managed to settle her in one place and we are currently trying to trap her.
It is so very important we keep the area as quiet as possible. As humans have personal boundaries dogs have a "bubbble", invisible sheild, because she is so scared her bubble is currently huge so whilst I have been able to look at her, I have been unable to get close. She is incredibly timid at the moment and my fear is that the slightest little thing could cause her to run again. Politely and respectfully I ask people to stay away, if you know where I am.
Kindly, Helen Caddick is setting up our own Facebook page so we can all talk directly without bothering the community page and she will be able to notify me immediately of any movements I am unaware of.
Thank you"

"Hi all. Maggie update,
I have been on the ground today, covering many miles but no further sightings. It is impossible to predict but if I had to I would say she would now head back Wheddon Cross way, so I intend to try and get ahead of her.
The reason why it is so difficult is because dogs are no longer your pets when lost, they switch to survival mode and go ferrel, some within hours but all by 24/36 hours, she will not even recognise her owner. I need her to stay still so it would be really helpful if when you are out you had something smelly & tasty in your pocket that you could put out for her, perhaps leave a trail, give us a chance to get out to her before she moves on and pray for calm weather so we can get a drone up!!
Thanks all for your continued support."

This evening Border terrier wearing red collar seen running frantic on Dumkery Beacon, Maggie's owner there in the area, with other people but Maggie has disappeared again, please phone owner if seen and you are local to the area. Not a place to be in bad weather or dark if you are not local!

We heard a terrier like barking in Nutcombe Bottom CarPark this morning but dog went quiet when we tried to approach. No one else about to be a dogs owner. Have reported to search coordinator and Maggie is believed to be traveling in this direction. Very dense wooded area and impossible to see in the undergrowth.

This is from Minehead page.....URGENT....Please can I plea to all those local to Timberscombe to help us find Maggie.
We now have a strong belief she has been injured by a car and footsearch has brought no results. We need as many people as we can to check every single hedge, ditch, nook & cranny.......The owners and myself would be so very grateful for any assistance as it is a lot of ground for us to cover and basically we are exhausted!! Please call me on 07309738713 if you have any info!
Many Thanks.
Ps. She could have been hit on the 90 degree bend but where she has gone to hide we do not know.

Ashleys0311 - the ad reads: "Border Terrier Bitch - Updated
Pedigree grizzle Border Terrier bitch, will be 3 years old in July ......"
That suggests to me that the ad was placed some time ago - June or earlier so would be well before Maggie went missing. Owner will get an alert though to check it out.

I really hope I’m mistaken but I’ve seen a dog that looks very similar on the traveller selling site; https://www.dragondriving.co.uk/puppiesforsale-152386.html
