- Have now spoken to a very happy owner. What happened was that Amber was picked up not long after she went missing by a very kind lady who took her to the dog warden. The dog warden has had her at the pound for almost a week and she was due to go to the RSPCA tomorrow. Last night when owner registered Amber on site, I called and gave telephone numbers to ring. Owner got straight onto it this morning. My emailed poster arrived at 8.30am and owner called same pound at just after 9.00 am and the whole thing just linked together. We are all over the moon, and Amber is fast asleep in her bed after being over excited all day I expect. I am hopeing we will get a lovely new piccy. Love and kisses to Amber and once again stay safe now sweetheart x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Oh Yasa (& Team East Anglia!) well done. I'm chuffed for you too. I was really taken by this gorgeous girl - she has such a beautiful face and so had to check on her page this evening and WOW(!), what great news. It just goes to show doesn't it? But it also backs up what we are constantly advising owners to do and that is to widen the search as far as possible. By the way, do her owners know how did she got there - was it via a dog warden? I'm so very happy for her owners. Welcome home lovely Amber!!!

- I am so chuffed !! I had a call at 5.30 tonight from the pound to tell me that Amber had been reunited at about 10.00 am this morning as a direct result of a the poster I emailed him at 8.30 am. !! I am just so over the moon as owner sounded so down last night, especiallly when I said how much work there was to do. I did mention the microchip comapany too, and said to ring them first thing this morning, to report her missing. I think special powers were working here to guide Amber home. Perhaps we will get a lovely re-united photo later. Welcome home lovely Amber, and well done to the lovely kennel man for making the match ! Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Amber has been found and we now have her at home thanks to your telephone call last night. She was at a dog pound in Downham Market about 45 miles from here and we had not thought she would have been so far away. A bit of advice for other people - we were relying on the fact that she had a microchip which is checked every year by the vet but the wrong telephone number was read off by the man at the dog pound and he got an old people's home! He did not try again. We are going to have the microchip re-checked but it is definetly worth ringing everywhere. Many thanks Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Owner, I have emailed you some information which will help you with your search. If you could update us on the page with how you are getting on, and any news it would really help us all to advise you. Hope there is good news soon. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Amber has gone missing from a garden at East Rudham where her owner was working at the time. This is about twenty five miles away from her home at Melton Constable. There is a possibility she could be trying to get home. It is very out of character for her to run off, and if she does go hunting, she normally returns not long afterwards, but nothing has been seen of her. Have given advice and more information will be emailed through to owner shortly. If there are any helpers at all in the area who could assist with searching and postering, it would be very much appreciated. There is a good chance that Amber has been picked up by someone who has not yet had her scanned, as although she was wearing a collar, her tag had unfortunately come off. Microchip company will be informed she is missing tomorrow. Stay safe Amber, until you are found x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
