I just wanted to post and say that I am a new dog helper in the Burgess Hill Area and will keep an eye out for Stevie.

Sorry that there have been no sightings for you. I have alerted some new members we now have in this rea and asked them to remember Stevie when out and about. Maybe a fresh poster campaign helped by anyone local will jolt memories and someone may have some news or sightings. CJ.

Last sighted in and around the Janes Lane area in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, Photograph to confirm but no sightings since August 2009, reported as living rough. Camped overnight on several occasions in order to get him back, no such luck, have been 'chasing' him across the Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill & Wivelsfield area after a few potential sightings that are yet unconfirmed.

There is a dog found very similar to Stevie. It was found along with another (lab staffy cross ) in Pudsey Leeds  on www.nationalpetregister.org. There is a pic and finder contact no is 07834 312017 Owner, you will be able to just click on it on the found section. It looks very similar to Stevie but owner would know if was a match. As there haven't been any recent updates by owner have left a message on owners contact no. to check this out. I hope Stevie is back home with you soon xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi  Might be worth checking sites like Rain Rescue as they cover the dog pounds/rescues and can select different areas many have pictures Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Vee Vee - I can see how worried you are. Get the posters out, make all the neighbours aware, and leave a way open in case he can scent his way back. Leave some of your clothing, and scent around the gate, or area he went through. I will send you some scenting guidlines by email, and you will understand better. Will go do that now for you.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry that your lovely Stevie has gone missing, but thank you for registering on Doglost and uploading a photo. Your poster is available, and can be printed from Stevies page by selecting Dog Poster 1 . Please notify all dog wardens, police , animal shelters and vets, and leave us a comment with exactly where he has gone missing from, and the circumstances.   To leave comments you must be logged in ( left hand side ?log in button)  and then once on your dogs page, click by the blue cross where it says ’add a comment’. We will do all we can to help. You need to poster widely immediately.  This is the key, but you may need hundreds of posters before you have any sightings. Good luck and hope you have good news soon.  Stay safe Stevie until we find you x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Escaped from the rear garden on the morning of 17/11/08 on Turners Mill Road, Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Only moved to the area the previous day from Yorkshire, so he does not know the area and may have gone exploring. PLEASE PLEASE contact me if you have any information or think you may have seen him, he is very missed and was hand raised from 3 weeks old. Please help me find my little boy. Have scent marked, postered, asked local dog walkers, asked vets/rspca/dog warden, still no sightings yet :(Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
