Spindle the lovely doglost volunteer helping to find Dart , sadly died last night, she so wanted to Find Dart for her owner, she often spoke about her, it was our great regret we never found her.

Its now 5 years since Dart was stolen from his owner. She has to be somewhere, could be anywhere in the country. Please keep looking for this special girl.

Gumtree ad just seen: "A tri-colour border collie was found in little stoke, bristol near little stoke park on the 5/2/11 wearing a black collor with paw prints on. It was taken to Baromar Boarding Kennels to be taken care of in hope the owners would call there. If you need more information call Becky on 07578555461"

It is now 2 years since lovely Dart was stolen from the little boy who owned her. He is still wanting his dog home as are all of us on doglost. She has to be somewhere. Bumping for anniversary.

Will put poster in Mole Valley Farmers in Bridgwater. Owner could try website 'Its been nicked'. Farmers put tractors, diggers etc on it and there are horses on there also. You need a crime number and police station phone no to advertise on there. Don't think its very 'big' but worth a try. Smith will go on when I find the crime no I tidied away!

A year ago today a little boys dog Dart was stolen.  He is still going to bed each night praying one day his wish will come true and Dart will come home to him. If anyone has any information at all on Dart please phone either poster number of doglost on 0844 8003220 in confidence.

sorry that there hasnt been any news of dart, I will print some poster and put them up, im situated along the a37 from shepton to yeovil so will put some up in shops along the route, Will also make friends and family in the area aware and keep an eye out whilst out and about. have you contacted fern animal sanctuary, somerset and dorset animal rescue and Wiltshire Animal Rescue and Sanctuary.  I hope you have some positive news of dart soon

Spoke to owner yesterday.  No calls or news on Dart.  So, his little boy did not get the present he wanted for christmas!!!!  Posters still up and owner will not give up looking for this dog.

Still no news on Dart.  Someone, somewhere knows  where this dog is.  Please, if you are reading this and you know anything call the dogs owner, his son wants nothihg for christmas apart from his dog home.  If someone has her please leave her at a rescue or a vets so we can get her home.

The Many Tears dog has pretty much been ruled out now. Rescue said they had history of dog and on closer inspecition it had black on base of tail which Dart does not.  She is somewhere out there, come on Dart time to get you back home.

hi have a look at manytears website.  there is a white collie with a black and tan head.  i think they take in dogs from pounds all over the country so perhaps Dart has been taken there.  i hope you get some news soon. x

Dart has been on a neighbourhood watch scheme, the Shepton Journal, Somerset Guarding and the Fosseway.  Someone must know where this dog is she is very distinct in colour and markings. Reward now offered for her safe return.

There is a lovely article in the Fosseway Magazine about Dart this week, so I am hopeful that someone's memory ~ or more likely conscience ~ will be jogged by this.  Did the Shepton Journal run a piece on Dart too??   Whoever has taken this dog has targetted her and her alone.  Whoever you are, I hope you can sleep at night knowing that you have taken a little boys best friend away from him..............if you are reading this then please do the right thing and return Dart to where she belongs.

owner is postering far and wide.  Posters even in lorries going to scotland.  Little boy is distraught that they have taken his dog.  Someone knows where this dog is, please keep you eyes and ears open.

Please get in touch with the BaNES DW, Mendip and Bristol too as this dog is missing from very near the county border.  Has the owner reported this to the police and has it been reported as a CRIME not a LOSS??  Owner please speak to the shop owner in Gurney slade to see if there was anyone suspicious hanging around ~ someone must have seen something.  As you are on the main road to Bristol/Yeovil please make sure this road is heavily postered as well as all the surrounding villages. Please make Dart too hot to handle and involve the local press..........Shepton Mallet Journal are very keen to run animal stories.  Keep checking the dog pounds and rescue centres IN PERSON don't rely on busy staff there to do this for you, please check yourself. Please register on this site and update us with how you are getting on.............you will receive a huge amount of help and support from helpers on here. Good luck.
