As you know, always on the lookout for dear Terri, and thinking of you D_aisy. Shame DL wasn't mentioned in the Evening Post article but the main thing is Terri's picture and write up will have brought her back to the public's attention again, well done for getting them to do the piece. Come on, where are you Terri?Last edited: 2010-05-14 19:18:20 by dinkydoodle

Terri was in the Bristol Evening Post yesterday!! They forgot to tell me! I am glad that she was in it but I specifically asked that they explain about Doglost and how to contact annonymously blah blah blah and maybe add a link to the online one to this page but.... He didn't! Instead he called me MR walker and said that Terri's scar on on her leg when I wrote in an email under her armpit!! Anyway rant over - Thank you all for still being so positive with me :D Lets hope this gives her a big memory boost to the people of this City & help to bring her home... http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/news/Owner-searching-dog-Terri/article-2145801-detail/article.html Lots of thanks & love xx Last edited: 2010-05-13 18:46:51 by D_aisy

My white dog,who is now black and in the bath and I have just come back from a very wet Vassalls Park and unfortunately did not see any dog remotely like Terri - here's hoping she doesn't like the rain and is tucked up nice and dry.  The only thing I did find was a tear in my wellie when I was ankle deep in mud!  I only saw 1 poster in the Vassalls car park on the big tree near the dog bin so I don't know if anymore were up and have disintergrated in the bad weather or if someone has taken them down.  Will be worth putting a few up again when the weather is a bit better, I can get over there again Thur/Fri.  Come on little girl, we need to see if it's you.x.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

daisymay, the tea lady is in the little cafe in the car park at Snuff Mills (Stapleton end).  She was very helpful in displaying a poster for missing Balloo (reunited 20575) and was also very interested in DogLost, I left a card with her.  I'm planning to take my dog for a walk in Vassalls Park on Friday morning (my day off) and have a hunt around for your little terror.  Here's hoping this is Terri.x.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

daisymay, that's brilliant news!  I've emailed my contacts who walk in Vassells regularly to remind them of Terri.  Have you also reminded the coffee van man near the car park, the park ranger and the tea lady at Snuff Mills end.  Does this tie in with the 'sightings' of Terri a few months ago in that other park in Fishponds?  Everything crossed.x.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks so much Sue -you have been brilliant all the way through this :-) and thanks so much for the chat last night. For everyone else - I got hysterical & rang Sue as I saw what looked like Terri on the Channel 4 news, it turns out it was a clip from their gallery which was supposidly filmed sept 08. It was sooo surprising as it was the same colur and everything I spat my chicken out everywhere LOL. Very frustrated today - there is still no news. You can't tell me that after 9 months not one person on this planet has seen my dog :-( I don't know what else to do but she is still sooo badly missed by us all. I took Bryn walking where we used to go last night & he went divey doing his usual bolting in the hedge as if she was about to run out. :-( It was so sad when he was looking around whinning. I searched the field though in case she was there lol. I don't know what to do now any one got any ideas? xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Received a telephone call today from previous owner of Terri who we got to know when we were doing our little intro meetings with the dogs.Unfortunately I lost her tel no since we took on terri but she still had mine :-)  She has seen a poster & has moved over the otherside of town now so will poster that area & work etc which gives me some exta hope today. I think having someone else who knows the dog as well as we do and not just from a photo will really help. She will also see if she has any new piccys I can have to put up on here etc.

Hi daisymay, went to vassels park today in fishponds, Terri posters still up along with missing Amy (17754). Park was packed with many dog walkers looking at posters, I thought i would mention did you read on dogpages site posted 23 may, seen in thornbury area ginger staffy with collar and tag, running in road, lady tried to catch him/her but dog got away, i think DW posted comment re this dog as it may or may not be a local dog that had got out, but i did think of terri when i read this as close to iron acton ?? sorry if ive raised any false hopes but better to say, hope you have good news soon and im always on the lookout for Terri in this area.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

You have done a great job with those posters, plaster them everywhere. If they get taken down put more up and get other owners to help you, I'm sure Sandy and you will make a great pair tracking these dogs down. Take care & good luck,Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just a thought Daisy may, call all local dog wardens  rescue centres on a daily basis, just in case, and also check in person if you can as one person idea of a staffie x mightnt be anothers. Check adds in local papers, trade it for example also gumtree if you can, got to go out now, but will do lots of checking when I get back.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We wont give up either daisy may.  We need to poster poster poster and then some - make your little lady high profile, and someone will find her, im sure.  She is chipped which gives her a huge advantage over dogs that are not.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Terris owner is out searching when I spoke just now.She was informed of a poss sighting at Latteridge on Thursday  She has Terris friend the lurcher with her.  The area she went missing from is rural farm land. She has informed DWs RSPCA has called all local landowners, and has done local posters.  She is going to try to get a picture of Terri to DL tonight so we can help her in postering. I suggested she gets some of her clothes and food that perhaps the dog might come to. Stay safe and come home soon little girl.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
