So pleased this little poppet is safely home now.   Cazjohn, sometimes we can't do right for doing wrong it feels, some people can so frustrate you and I often wonder why they're doing the job they do, they're certainly not in it for the dogs.   Just carry on with what you're doing, the dogs will appreciate you, maybe even the unpredictable SBT!!   And welcome home Princess, stay safe now gorgeous little girl xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

roxy who is actually princess lol, it was an old photo. is home now ty for your help caz oh and she did have a collar on when she was taken which just tells me more that someone took her as she was returned without a collar, so even if i had a tag on her would have made no differance because a dog thief doesnt care Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Little Roxy has been safely found, and owners are aware and in communication with DW and holding kennels, so she has been moved to reunited.Hopefully she will go home with a microchip and a shiny new id tag,  which would have had her returned home in an instant this time. Take care baby RoxyLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just spoken to Roxys owner and she hasn't yet picked up her puppy as she is in dispute with the council over the release fee.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Just to update on our puppy, the council do have her and i have just had a lovely convo with  the dog warden, who was extremely rude and arrogant with me, i take in and rehome unwanted dogs as a favour to the dog world, i do this out of the goodness of my heart from my own expence, i have been accused of having kennels etc, which i do not, any dogs i have here live in my home with us, i have been called a breeder which i am not, i have been told i need a liscence to breed and to have kennels etc etc, we have our own pet dogs and we have 1 or 2 rescue dogs as i call them in from time to time, if this is so wrong then shoot me, the irony of all this is that whilst looking for my puppy that i cannot afford to get back due to the council being pig headed about fees, i had an agressive staffordshire bull terrier follow me home, which i didn't turn back out onto the streets i took him in even though he has tried to bite me on a few occasions i mentioned this to the warden and she has basicly refused to take him in. now i am stuck with a dog that is unpredictable and i have 5 children, nice woman isn't she. now she is saying she has o come and harrass me by visiting me to see if i have kennels etc etc, is anyone getting the picture here Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner you need to get posters printed off and put all around the area Roxy went missing from. You can print off the poster by clicking on to Dog Poster 1 at the top left of this page but you need to be logged in. Make sure you contact all vets, rescue centres and dog wardens. Hopefully she will have been taken in by some kind person. Other places to poster are pet shops, supermarkets, busstops, taxi ranks, local sorting office, schools, clubs, car parks, dog groomers and anywhere else that you can think of. You should also contact your local radio station and ask them to put out an appeal for her. Hope you find her soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
