It was 6!/2 weeks before I got a phone call out of the blue for my stolen Hermy-directly down to a poster at a vets-someone came in saw it and realised that some youths on her street had recently acquired a similar dog-it turned out to be Hermy. At the end of the day your dogs are microchipped and you have the posters out. It must be awful to have lost the other 2 older dogs as well-keep going.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi all its been over 6weeks since my dogs have gone missing and only 1 possible sighting.i have put up reward posters and still no clues to where Lady and Tramp are.In the last 6 weeks my greatdane Max(10) has died and my yorkshire terrier Sally(17)has been put to sleep through cancer .Im at the moment losing all heart that Ladyand Tramp will ever be returned to us.Lady would have been in her first seasons by now which is a great worry to me as Tramp is her brother.my family are telling me to give up looking for them.I feel i have to as searching has been taking over my whole life without a glimmer of hope.thanks all for all your help and adviceLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I note that the secretary of the Burleigh branch of the pony club is in Spalding, (http://branch.pcuk.org/burghley/) maybe you could contact her and ask if she could put the word out amongst the horsey fraternity around there. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Maybe you could contact Max's owner (Jack Russel Terrier) who went missing in postcode area PE10 four days after your two went missing. You could help put up each others posters. Sorry I don't live near enough to help (Surrey) but the best of luck, someone must have seen them as they are quite unusual dogs!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

My husband has told me you kindly rang him today. You may be interested to know I have contacted Lincs Fm. They have tried to investigate the recent spate of dog thefts in the region, but to no avail. They seem to think that perhaps not everyone is reporting the thefts to the police so they are unable to ascertain whether it is actually theft. I think they will investigate further if they can get more individuals on board who have reported the theft to the police. Would you be interested in passing your details onto them? I have a number for the senior journalist. I am awaiting a response from Countrymans Weekly and Vibe FM and will let you know if they show any interest. I am really sorry about your dogs and hope they are found soon. Thank you for contacting us.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
