Hi friends, Thanks so much for your support - I'm Bess's owner (Jayne very kindly put details on web for me). (We're actually Cheshire, not Lancs, sorry - 8 miles E of Chester). I've mithered dog wardens, all local vets, rescue kennels (as far as Manchester, Halewood and Wirral), RSPCA, put posters up, told all neighbours, in local press also. Noone has any info whatsover. I've waded all ditches down our country road... I now think my little old girl was either taken by a fox (most likely), or curled up and died (a little less likely, considering how she devoured her scrambled eggs a few hours earlier!) Just want to thank you, friends, it's lovely to have your support. With love, Barbara xxx

I am so sorry to see that Bess is missing. Please poster,poster, poster as much as you can. It is VITAL that you contact local dog wardens, vets and stray kennels and make sure they know she is missing. Keep on checking with them so they dont forget you are looking for her and also visit stray kennels in person to check she is not there as by law they only have to keep a dog for 7 days. I so hope you have some news of this elderly girl very soon xx Pam
