Yes it may be that someone did think Marley was a stray. The RSPCA often get cats handed in; people thinking they are strays, when they atrually belong to someone. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Post in shops; post offices too. Post a LOST CAT ad in a Nationel neswpaper too, in case ha has climbed into a vehicle. Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Twiter too. Try a radio/tv appeal too. The person who was seen pickling Malrey up may not be living too far away. I know of three cats who were posted as missingl one for SIX WEEKS, one for THREE MONTHS, and one for SIX MONTHS. These cats were not too far from their own homes, being fed by others, so you never know. When it`s nightfall, take a good walk around the area, using a strong torch, as the light will reflect a cats eyes. And if possible an objet with his scent on; his UNWASHED blanket maybe. All worth a try. So leave no stone unturned. Paws, and fingers xd.

Please contact Battersea as well. They have a Cattery and he may have been taken there by the ‘rescuer’.
I hope that Marley is home soon. x

Gorgeous cat....its hard to know what advice to offer in the circumstances. Any CCTV where he was picked up. Contact all local vets and poster everywhere. Is there a local newspaper that a story could be put in. Post to all local facebook sites and also to local neighbourhood Streetlife and Neighbourhood Digest local sites. Really hope there is news of Marley very soon x

• If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk

• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!

• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
