I am thrilled to be able to say RAMBLE is HOME!!!!! Welcome home Ramble! After 2 full days of extensive searching, Ramble's owners found her about 5 miles away in cover and extremely exhausted. The poster and flyers paid off once again - a rider saw her yesterday morning giving owners an idea of the new area she was in and then a cyclist saw her. He knew he'd seen a similar poster so cycled home, then went out in his car to find the poster and called owners. Once they got to the area they found Ramble. She is now safely at home recovering well, vet has given her the all clear apart from the exhaustion, her hips are giving her a bit of trouble (she has hip problems anyway), but nothing TLC won't sort.   Owners would like to pass their thanks to Doglost. Well done to the rider and cyclist and Ramble's owners hard work and extensive searching got the much deserved result. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have cross posted Ramble to springer forum Springthing.....I expect he will go back to where his masters car was, or where he was standing on the shoot so please scent there also to keep him in the area ...good luck.xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photos of lovely Ramble now on site. Ramble disappeared whilst on a shoot. Owners have extensively searched the area but no sign so far. They have been doing a great job spreading the word, leafleting local houses - although of course quite a rural area - and have contacted local councils, out of hours vets etc. Tomorrow they are ready to contact neighbouring councils, vets etc. Microchip company also notified. Food and familar objects with smell been left in the area she was last seen both last night and tonight. Fingers crossed this will bring Ramble out. Ramble is very nervous, if seen please call owners and do not approach Ramble, it is more than likely she will run. Ramble is almost totally deaf. Please anyone in the area keep a look out for Ramble, spread the word etc. We need this girl back home.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
