- on the nessr website it has been posted that the owners of the cocker (b5 in the pound)didnt want him any more and didnt want to reclaim him, hes absolutely stunning!!! :( i presume its not cognac unfortunately, no chance it is and the people who had him just decided to dump him? he has a new home lined up already though apparently so its good news in some respects :)Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- So sorry to see that Cognac still hasn't come home Claire. If you know the area the dogs like to hunt, I'm happy to go out with you and bring one of mine. It has been known for them to survive down a hole for longer than one would suppose. With best wishes, and love, AnneLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Cognac went missing on Friday 28th November from East Garston. He ran off with my terrier on the scent of something, I was unable to call them back and tried to find them unsuccessfully. The terrier eventually returned - but no Cognac. So he definitely wasn't stolen from home although he may have been picked up by someone subsequently. We are unsure if he is still out there, has got himself stuck somewhere or a fatal accident has occurred. We are offering a substantial reward for his return and would welcome any news, even if it is bad news. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Claire, sorry to see Cognac is missing. Thanks for registering on DL and adding his details, we will do all we can to help you in your search. Great you have uploaded lovely photos. You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible. Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in). Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo). Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone. Ensure you notify the Chip Co and that his details are up to date. Do update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering. You can leave a comment by selecting Add a comment just above Comments. Good luck and hope he is found soon.
