- Is there a change of circusmstances within the family? As sometimes say if there is a new pet, or baby, for instance cats will feel left out, "Pack their bags" and leave home. Cats hate cange of any kind. but take furhter looks in outbuildings, as a cat owner on this site found their cat after a second look. Leave no stone unturned. Paws xd. - A cat recently found his way home after the owner hung a bag containing the Hoover contents ( put holes in the bag) on the washing line in the garden. The cat found its way home later that day. Worth a try. Fingers crossed. Joanx
