- thank heavens for doglost.co.uk and KatieF the area co-ordinator. it means that very soon hopefully this little wandering soul will be caught, and if it does have a loving owner somewhere will be reunited.

- I was asked by warden services if I could work with a few ladies that had sighted and reported to council this stray dog. It was last seen on St. John road in the same place as the photos 10 minutes before I arrived but had disappeared into the hedges and didn’t make another appearance for a trapping opportunity -although trap has remained up and monitored locally for the week.
Sightings last week stopped as the weather picked up and the public came out sadly. Area has play areas/basketball courts and clearly kids ,constant stream of dog walkers Hampered any chances. During the week multiple elderly people have tampered with the trap not reading the lost dog notice and saying we are after foxes. Trap is being removed today and posters will be placed for any further info.
Possible a local dog allowed to roam although sighters adamant dog was dirty unkempt and scared.
I will be sweeping as much hedgeline as possible tomorrow. Last edited: 2020-10-13 16:39:53 by KatieF - Area Co-ordinator - Somerset - 2020-10-13 16:23
