Such a relief that the poor boy can now rest peacefully. So sorry to read about the loss of Barney. From the article in Surrey news, Barney lost his footing and slipped down the bank into the river. It seems he was pulled under and is thought to have drowned. Owners want help to try to locate and recover his body. The news article has details of the stretch of water where Marley was lost. I wonder if local 'fire and rescue' might help as a training exercise? Anyone got any contacts in the area or have any other practical suggestions to help the owners recover their lovely boy.
