- Waldo, sadly after a dog has spent 7 days in the stray dog system, legally the council or their contracted dog warden service can home the dog via a rescue centre. They will have sent notifications to the registered address on the microchip. Data protection doesn’t allow the information to be divulged. I am so sorry.

- Waldo ..sorry to hear that. Unfortunately owners have 7 days to collect their dog. After that the dog becomes the property of rescue centre. Can only suggest that you do a Google search to find local rescue centres and check if your dog is listed for adoption. Fingers crossed.

- Thanks for the update. Have already phoned that number twice, but they won't divulge which rehoming centre he went to.
Is there any way you can help, I really want him back.
Many Thanks.

- Waldo ...I have deleted the microchip number that you listed but can confirm that it does match the dog. You need to contact Animal Wardens on 01254 492024 for further details.
