Mac is home. He was handed over last night. A substantial amount of money had to change hands. He was very muddy, dirty and tired but is now, after a good clean and a sleep, back to his normal self! Welcome home boy.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owners have had a call demanding money in return for their dog.....watch this space.....would appear to be a 'genuine' call rather than a wind up. Fingers crossed this boy is home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There's a bit of a mystery surrounding this dogs disappearance.....he was briefly in the garden whilst owners son was getting his bike and then no dog. Garden is secure with 6ft fence and a back gate. There is nowhere he could have escaped from and highly unlikely to have gone over the fence. None of the neighbours saw him running along the street so it is possible he was stolen. The back gate was not locked but bolted and if he was stolen the thieves also bolted it after them. Their is an access road behind the garden so he could have been taken out the garden and put into a car without being seen. Owners have done a great job of contacting all the relevant people - council, vets, police, kennels etc and have postered the area. They are going to continue to poster the area and do so further afield. A photo will be on site later tonight. Vizslas are not that common and are very striking so hopefully someone will spot him before long. I will alert local helpers.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
