I  am sorry there has been no news. As you say hopefully the chip will bring her back It could be some elderly person has found her and does not know what to do so until they get out and about and maybe spot your posters they would be keeping her.   All you can do it keep up the posters- replacing any that may have got wet or faded. it may be worth appraoching all pet food shops asking if they would display a poster or even smaller flyers to have by the check out.See if you can put one in local new agents ( again smaller sizes would help)   Ask local taxi firms if they would put one in the office so all drivers are aware and maybe even some drivers would put on inside the cab.   Target areas like bus stations train stations where lots of people will spot a MISSING POSTER  You could ask local schools if they would allow the children to all take home a smaller leaflet- lots of eyes keeping a look out and maybe offer the school a cash reward to the school fund if Farrah was found due to one of the pupils.   Depending on costs you could put an advert in a paper- best with a picture headed MISSING. keep it brief to keep costs down- i would go for one of the freebie type papers- not sure who covers swanley but do you have thwe KM extra or adscene as they have good coverage   Hope these few ideas may help bring her home soon..  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Still no news of Farrah. It's over a month now and seems too long by far! Posters still up. EVERYONE knows about her but she seems to have 'disappeared'!!! Hoping her 'chip' may bring her back to us. We search areas weekly. Talk to dog walkers. Give out hand posters and make sure all others are still in place. NOTHING seems to be giving any clues to her whereabouts! ANYONE who may see her, PLEASE let us know.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Circumstances taken from email to Admin:   Fara has gone missing after getting out and running off from a kennel she was staying in for the day. She got out yesterday morning and the last sighting of her was 11.30am. Owners have searched the area, put posters up, rang vets, Council, Police, Battersea and other homes.   She is approx 15ins tall, was wearing a Pink webbed Collar and a brown flea collar too. Microchipped Company have been informed.   Last seen running up and down Button Street, Swanley up till 11.30 am (2 hrs after she'd escaped). She is very frightened and shy dog, owner lives 4 miles away and Farah doesn't know where she was or where to run to!   She is friendly to all animals and people but will bark as scared.    Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am based in North of England but something has struck me that there seem to be a few dogs going missing from Swanley.   Is it possible there is active "thieving" of dogs going on in this particular area at the moment. ? Maybe the local police could be alerted to the possibility - though I know they don't place missing dogs at the top of their agenda. However, theft is theft.  It should be up to them to establish a pattern or be mindful if other elements should be taken into consideration  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
