This dog is not a pekingnese it is a rare coloured imperial shih tzu. I have spoken to 4 Pekingese breeders who state the same this dog is not Pekingese.

I would also say this is a shih tzu over pek. Hopefully doesn't effect search if owner looking. ❤️

Found running in the road and as no owners have come forward is now in kennels where it will serve its 7 days before going up for rehoming . Contact the Purbeck Dog Warden with any information.
Proof of ownership will be required

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
