Great to see Summer reunited. She was stolen on 11th November 2020 from Romford in a house burglary and sold on. Reunited on 8th January 2020.
Ali, who bought Summer in good faith took her to the vet to be vaccinated.
Good news the vet checked her microchip and told Ali she was a stolen dog.
Bad news, it appears the vet did nothing! The vet should have reported the stolen pet to the microchip database who would then in turn contact the family registered on the microchip database.
Ali then tried himself to find Summer’s family. When he contacted the database he was told if he paid £17 the microchip would be registered in his name!!
Once again the microchip system has failed because of human indifference!

- Someone sent an email to admin with link to a deceased similar dog found in Waltham Forest E15 ...dont know age or sex of dog but might be worth phoning the vet to hopefully dismiss this finding. The link is here but is not a photo of the actual dog
