hope punky is put on a car harness which you attach to the car seat so they can not bolt from if fitted properly !! happy magical and lucky ending x x

PUNKY IS HOME!! Woooo hooooo!! He was caught a few hours ago. Ben and Rachel from the Border Collie Trust came down to help and Punky strolled right up to Ben and then eventually after a couple of hours gave himself up and allowed himself to be caught. He is fine, snuggled up nice and warm at home in his new bed now. Thanks everyone!

Sorry to see that Punky is missing. Majorjet has given some great pointers, please do follow her advice and contact all those mentioned. If you haven't already, please also contact Westend Farm Kennels on 01449 737641 as these kennel the strays for Colchester Council. Best if you can visit them in person and leave a poster with them to help them for id purposes. You really do need to get the area covered with posters. Start off in the area Punky is missing from and then spread out covering a much wider area - the more eyes looking for Punky the better. Have you had any sightings since Punky went missing? What sort of area did he bolt from - his home/a walk etc? It would be a good idea to leave an item of clothing or a towel etc, something with his/your scent on so if he does come back to the area (which many dogs will do) there will be something familiar.

Owner, sorry to see Punky is missing.  Thanks for registering on DL and adding his details, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Can you please upload a photo or similar one, any problems email to admin@doglost.co.uk (include Punky's ID No in heading).  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in). Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.  Great Punk is CHIPPED do ensure you contact the Chip Co and report her missing and details are up to date.  Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan x Thanks Shirley for your help. x
