a quick mention to all involved in getting June home..

Jaqui and kevin (junes newly adopted mum and dad) were incredibly involved and proactive throughout and in the end June chose to go home to them after 7 days missing and having only been in their home 11 days prior!

Wonderful help and local knowledge from Jasmine, Steve & Tracey Gilson (a local dog trainer) and runs Leighton buzzard loving pets page. Helped with contacting the rail and the farmers field to get permissions for trap.

Huge efforts put into postering, feeding stations, trap setting up and long hours trap monitoring by Cliff from Drone search services, the Many tears team, DL team stuart, sarah & Steph as well as lots of advice given by Christine, Jan & Sarah from Lost dog recovery UK south.

For future reference-

June was visiting a field nearly 2 miles from home during the day time where she'd made a little nest inside a hay bale. This field was alongside a busy road where Mcdonalds litter was regular chucked out of cars and june was seen twice scavenging in mcds litter. She was also seen in the school playing fields- perhaps more rubbish left around from kids lunch times. We think she followed the tracks back home and was perhaps visiting home each night as the owners found a lot of extra dog poop in their garden!

Is this June who came from Many Tears Rescue rescued with her sister from Romania? If so, I am so pleased that she came back, realising that this was her forever home where she will always be safe.
