- Angie - Bless you for that lovely update. You have me crying too. You gave him the best you could during his life and he obviously was a happy happy dog. Such a terrible shame, and so unfair that his life should be brought to an end this way, but he will be waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge, the same as all of our lost loved ones are for us, so we will all be re-united one day. Love to you and your family x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thankyou for all your lovely messages, we are all so sad I havent stopped crying, everyone who knew Max had deep affection , just a little bit about him, 8 yrs ago we lost are GSD called Fritze it was at the time of footmouth we couldent travell anywhere to replace are Fritze of 14yrs,my daughter rang me up to say that 2 puppies 1 dead and 1 alive were in there works rubbish skip so many people had put there names down to have this poor little pup, the decision came from management that said he was going to be a biggish dog due to the size of his paws, we had 8 acres a secure garden and knowledge,Max was about 6-8 old we never looked back he was a treasure be-yond words,He grew up and learnt sign language loads of tricks, he was such a quick learner and faithful, he never ever had to be reprimanded he was such a happy dog and lived for us,he was nurse made to babies, a diamond of a dog and freind beyond words.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- By the edge of a wood at the foot of a hill, Is a lush green meadow where time stands still ! Where friends of a man and woman do run when their time on earth is over and down, for here and between this world and the next is a place where each beloved creature finds rest. On this golden land they wait and play till rainbow bridge they cross over one day ! No more do they suffer in pain or saddness for here they are whole their lives filled with gladdness, Their limbs are restored their health renewed their bodies have healed strength imbuled! They run through the grass without even a care , , untill one day they stop and sniff the air. All ears pricked forward eyes dart side to side and then all of a sudden one breaks from the pack... For just that instant their eyes have met together again person and pet, so they run to each other this friends from long past their time of their parting is over at last, The sadness they felt whilst apart has turned into joy once more in each heart, they embrace with a love that will last forever And side by side they cross over together x safe forever max x x x x x xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Spoke to owner, Max just disappeared out of garden. They have been out searching constantly. Notified DW, vets, Police etc. Advised postering immediately and to contact microchip company first thing in morning. Max is the dog on the right of the photo.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
