Leah, this is brilliant.  Had not long checked local Vet in case he had been reported found.  Have now spoken to another family member, Alfie was being looked after by someone local who seen a POSTER today and contacted them.  I do not think Alfie is a Bichon as they are normally all white (even vet mentioned this as they had seen his details on DL).  Owners are going to get this clarified as they are not sure themselves, he could easily have been missed if in a rescue etc.  A big ?THANK YOU? to the finder, power to the poster again.  Welcome home Aflie, hope he now gets CHIPPED as advised with family member today.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Leigh for replying to the text and updating Alfie's page.  I've emailed you an A4 poster and smaller posters, with both photos on and also some info to help you in your search.  Someone may have taken Alfie in and once the posters start getting circulated you will get that most important call.  Contact and leave a poster in Vets - you can find vets in the area by selecting the logo 'Find Any UK Vet' underneath 'Latest Missing Photo'. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

RSPCA HALEWOOD SAID OVER THE PHONE THEY ARE THE ONLY CENTRE WHO TAKE STRAY DOGS IN FROM THAT AREA AND THAT YOU MUST KEEP IN DAILY CONTACT WITH THEM ON 0151 486 1706 AND THAT AFTER 1PM DAILY YOU CAN POP DOWN AND WALK THROUGH THE KENNELS TO LOOK WHICH IS WHAT SHE RECOMMENDS. Also she said to make a not of calling the out of hours dog warden to bring to there attention this dog is missing if not already done so.
