I’m afraid I have the worst news to pass on 😞

Neville was found earlier this evening...in water not far from where he was lost...and he has gained his Angel wings 😔

He is now back with his family who are understandably devastated...and I’m sure you will join us in sending ALL our love to Chris and the boys.

Rest easy boy...safe in the stars ✨ You touched many hearts...we will never forget you 💔

Gutted to get the sad news NEVILLE has been FOUND and not the outcome any of us wanted to get. Deepest thoughts are with Chrissie his owner and family who have not stopped since he went missing. He was one special boy. Only consolation is they now have closure. Sending them all big hugs. ❤️❤️❤️

Day 57 and Neville is still not home 🙁

ALL potential sightings are being followed up, and many have come in from across the Wirral...some of which will not have been him...but we would rather check, so keep them coming.

The weather and flooding may move Nev on from his 'safe place' if he is out there...so please be on the lookout and TAKE A PHOTO of any potential dogs you see which may help either rule it out, or confirm his location.

Nev's owner has done so much postering and asking around the area/sighting locations...EVERY SINGLE DAY SHE HAS SEARCHED...totally exhausting...so if you are able to print off a poster and display it somewhere, it would be a massive help to her.

Shops, supermarkets, vaccination centres (particularly useful at present as it will be seen by elderly people who are unlikely to be on Social Media, post offices, doctors surgeries...anywhere that's open in lockdown will help 🙏

A new poster to share below too...along with 'leaflet sized' ones to hand to postmen, carers, bin men, milk delivery, taxi drivers, police/community patrols - all of whom are out early and late when he is most likely to show himself - PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN 🙏

Sadly, there have been no new sightings of Neville for a few days 🙁

Is he hunkered down deep out of the bad weather?
Has he moved to a different area?
Has someone managed to secure him, but isn't sure what to do?

Please, PLEASE keep him in your thoughts as you go about your day, take your daily exercise and so on.

Look for upturned bins, split bin bags...check cctv/Ring doorbell footage...ask around...just that one tiny snippet of information could lead Neville back home 🙏

THANK YOU to everyone that has called/messaged with potential sightings...as you can see from the map below, they are coming in and although not fully confirmed via a photo, ANY one of these could have been him...PLEASE KEEP THEM COMING...if you think you see him and are able, get a quick photo (we don't care if its a blurry longshot) then CALL/MESSAGE US 👍

THANK YOU too to anyone that has printed and put up a poster. POSTERS = SIGHTINGS...so we intend to get them up as far across the Wirral as poss (and we promise to take them down when he's home). If you can put one ANYWHERE it'll be seen (hard during lockdown but staff room, supermarket, give to your postman/binman, care workers/delivery drivers that travel around etc) it will be a massive help right now...it just takes that one poster to be seen by the 'right' person 🤞

NEVILLE IS STILL MISSING...but there have been a couple of possible sightings in the area around Brimstage & Thornton Hough (on the Wirral, North West where he went missing)...so eyes peeled Thornton Hough, Fairfield, Brimstage, Barnston, Storeton areas 🙏🏻

He is most likely to show himself at dawn/dusk/overnight, so if you do think you see a stray, black dog in that general area...please call the sighting in to his family ASAP and leave the dog be...we will set remote cameras and food stations, rather than have him chased out of the area 👍

Thank you for your support...Neville is a healthy and capable dog, well able to look after himself ‘out there’...but hopefully can be returned home to his family very soon 🙏🏻

Neville is STILL MISSING!

17 days ago, he disappeared whilst on a walk in fields in Thornton Hough, Wirral, North West CH63 area. His owner is devastated 😞

The fields and immediate area have been searched...a drone has flown over...trail/live feed cameras have been in use...BUT THERE IS NO SIGN OF HIM!

Neville has only recently moved to the area from Bebington, which is not too far away. Is he trying to return there? As you can see from the map below (shows a 2 and 3 mile radius of where he disappeared), the Wirral is very small...a healthy dog like Neville could EASILY be wandering out there! There are train lines either side (Network Rail report is in...but if you know any drivers etc...please ask them to watch the track sides as dogs often find them quiet and away from perceived ‘predators’ (humans!) to travel around an area 🙏🏻)

Of course he could have been taken 🤷🏼‍♀️...but wandering, stolen or worse (there is no evidence to suggest harm has come to him)...he needs AWARENESS of his plight ALL OVER The Wirral and beyond 🙏🏻

Neville is a nervous dog...now in Survival Mode...if seen, do not approach him as he is likely to bolt...CALL THE NUMBERS BELOW 🙏🏻

Neville is still missing and no confirmed sightings yet. He is lost in a very rural area and can stay away for people easily.
