Hi, whereabouts in Colchester did he go missing? I have just moved from CO1 but my family still live there. I have passed on his info to them - has Cathrine the dog warden been informed? Hope Charlie is home soon, good luck x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Kevin, sorry to see that Charlie is missing. Please follow the advice Yasa has given, ensure you get on to Colchester Council if you haven't already and please contact Westend Farm Kennels on 01449 737641 who kennel the strays in the Colchester area. If you can visit them in person and leave a poster with them that would be advisable. The really important to poster the local area......anywhere people go poster - supermarkets, bus stops, parks, by schools, pubs etc. Put posters through the doors of neighbouring houses too. Really hoping you get some news/sightings of Charlie soon and he is tucked up safely with you in no time.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have crossposted the link to several email groups I am on .. hopefully that will mean more people on the look out - I have all fingers crossed that Charlie is found safe and well very soon indeed.   Stay safe.  I have also posted details on our Valgrays website: http://valgraysbcrescue.webs.com/hotnews.htm Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner, So sorry Charlie has gone missing. Thank you for registering him on here. We will do waht we can to help. Seeing as he has gone from your garden, he may well find his way back when he is done with his adventure. Leave the way open, with an item of your worn clothing by the way in. Also leave some of his bedding in a place by the door with some very smelly food, like tripe or sardines or pilchards and some water. Hopefully if he finds his way back during the night he will stay in the area. Tomorrow you must contact all dog wardens covering the area, pounds, police and vets, and poster like mad. Your poster can be viewed now by clicking on DOG POSTER 1 above the dogs detail boxes. You can print off from there, and get hundreds out there in clear plastic sleeves. Good Luck, and hope there is good news tomorrow x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
