- Monty is not the elderly one for sale on Gumtree.
Monty has very short dark hair. - 2020-12-21 22:19 Susanna
- Another distinguishing mark is Monty has a firm 20mm sub-cutaneous lump centre back, spine which can be felt if stroked. The vet's checked it and it's not a problem. Just like a wart or something and it's not got any bigger.

- Very like Monty but guess the poor little baby is a girl. Monty has an Anabase chip and tags so I'd be told. I can give her a home. I'd love to whether Monty's found or not.

- Asked neighbours. The ones I have a problem with said "he was on his last legs anyway" Not TRUE. Monty was fine last night. If he felt fragile he'd not go out of the house especially not in the pouring rain. I have a really bad feeling because there's a motion sensor light which was on before I got to it and Monty had set it off. It only stays on for 10 minutes. This road is a private drive by the river and only leads to these neighbours. There's something very wrong going on. He never ever wanders far and certainly doesn't disappear into thin air. I was literally on his trail in 15 minutes.
Alternatively they could have dumped him somewhere. There was just something off about their reaction when I said he was lost. Everyone else was fine and very nice. - 2020-12-14 19:48 Unknown

- Susanna, is there anywhere in your garden that Monty could have got stuck? Under a shed or in a greenhouse for example? There have been cases in the past where pets have got stuck within their own gardens and they have remained silent. Also cases where they have got out of their own garden, but have remained trapped in a neighbours garden and are unable to get back under a fence, or have been caught up in wire or brambles. As Monty is elderly have you checked under any large shrubs within your garden in case he's been taken poorly and is unable to move. Hope you get some positive news soon. Joanx

- No not on FB or Twitter.
To Max&Nick Young - Can't read your email. It's blank.
I have been out asking everyone but no sign of him. And dog walkers haven't seen him either. Someone might find him but I don't think he's about locally on the loose. Even if someone's found him, why don't they get in touch?
Thank you for all your help. Last edited: 2020-12-14 16:10:29 by Susanna - 2020-12-14 15:58 Unknown
