MAX was not claimed and has gone to a brilliant Rescue who will find him a lovey home. Below CROSS POSTED from their fb page:

Max was found as a stray but sadly unclaimed (his new owner only had him for 3 weeks but couldn’t take max back for various reasons but messaged us with lots of helpful information), as always any dogs sent from us to the wardens we follow them through and the dog wardens will contact us when there time is up and transport them safely to us. Poor Max has previously had 4 homes prior coming to us. He is approximately 3 years old. He is super duper friendly and won’t stay still long enough for a photo! He is on the thinner side so will get extra meals whilst in our care. Max will have further assessments over the next few days, his previous owner has given new information to say he has been dog friendly in the past and has lived with a cat. Max isn’t keen on young children so a home with children over 12 is needed. Max will need a secure garden 6ft or over as he does have a spring in his step! He would suit an adult family with someone home a day to keep him occupied he does suffer with separation anxiety and will need help to overcome this. Carla lane animals in need have homed a few greyhounds. I’ve messaged Chris asking if they recognise him and maybe the DW can check his tattoo and get back to them as they know one of the DW from AW.

Hi. I run the Lancashire Greyhound Trust. Wondering if he has a tattoo or chip number as I might be able to locate who he is etc. He doesn't look familiar but he is our area. He should be dual registered to our branch if he is from us. He may be from Mersey and Cheshire Greyhound Trust, Makants or Northern Greyhound Rescue. If I can help please ask. Ive called AW and left a message xx

Have added photos from found post on fb and updated the details. Animal Wardens confirmed same dog and is now in their kennels. Will do a share post ASAP.

Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
