- I will be transporting this boy to rescue in a couple of days. He is in very fit condition and eating OK, really doing well. A big thank you to BC for making the connection with the newly arrived stray in her area.

- Yes, it is the missing one. What happened between the last sighting on 27th nr Llandewi Velfrey and his sudden appearance 10 days later running round Mwnt and Blaenporth north of Cardigan - and many miles away - we will never know. It took a long time to catch him there, but he was caught by a lady whose barn he had been sleeping in. She put some food in her pickup and shut the door on him while he was eating. He is well and looks in reasonable shape.

- A lurcher answering to this chaps' description was caught and handed in yesterday by a lady who knew he had been sleeping in her barn for a week. She managed to trap him in her pick-up after leaving food in it. The transporter has gone to the pound to see if it is him. Will update as soon as I know.

- Owl, there is a lurcher on the run up our end, he is moving around all the time, cardigan , mwnt, etc, dog warden has been trying to catch the dog without any luck, been unable to use trap as he keeps changing area, didnt know if it might be connected to this lost dog, think the one up here is a maleLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Hi Greylady, not sure what kind of lurcher, but may be greyhound type rather than saluki. He and his sister were relinquished to the pound and were on their way to rescue when he bit through his slip lead and legged it during a handover. His sister is now safe in rescue, but she doesn't look anything like him. The person who can give the best description is the transporter, but I may not be able to get hold of him until later. He would be the best person to pick a similar dog photo. There are some very good people working on this locally, networking around the farming community. He is very nervous and will be a challenge to catch, but I can borrow a trap once he has settled in to a territory. The point he escaped from was the Total filling station at Robeston Wathen. He then headed down Woodford Lane and vanished into the fields. That area leads up to the woods mentioned. As far as the rescue knows, this poor lad doesn't even have a name.
