Any news on this dog I live quite close to Burton Fleming ? If the photograph is of her she looks more like a sable GSD than a black & tan(I've had GSDs for 40 + years) Anyone contacted the local GSD rescue ? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

dear jayne the foxy posters have been up in woodmansey which is south of beverley east yorks for about 1 week on the street where foxy is thought to be , locked up in a stable, presumably until she has grown and cant be recognised.we have not had a single contact in that week.if it is foxy and her new owners are the people that picked up then they obviously want to keep her. to go in heavy handed, risks serious recriminations and although we hate to say this and we are very upset , i dont feel we can risk our home or our children or our other animals. so we are going to give up, i know it condones the practice ,and if foxy does happen to turn up we will have her back, but i think we have to consider her replacement and hope she has a reasonably good life with her new owners. we're happy to stay as helpers on your site and please let us know what we owe for admin costs. thank you and to everyone who has done their best to try and find our puppy. best wishes gill and geoffLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owners have rung to update. A caller has given a location and police say they will check it out. If not by tomorrow then owner will put up a reward poster near to the location in the hope that the money will lure Foxy out.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

dear jayne, bridlington police did track a gsd type down to the address suggested, the pup had been sold for ?30 to a pet shop in brid. we viewed the pup today and its not foxy its a gsd cross rotty.we're gutted. new adverts went in the paper today we have had 5 calls the most likely of which is a gsd pup seen running in a very floppy puppy like fashion on carlton close near main postoffice in bridlington at 5pm on 22/07/04. we got the call at 9.30 pm. the other calls were from westhull, pontefract andleeds area. we are losing hope now. the brid police r very helpfulLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
