Thank you Shereen. I am just comparing these pics now. Found dog seems to have more black on his front right leg than Alfie does. If you look at the black running down the side of the leg, it runs half way down, where as Alfie has less black in that area. Face markings are identical, the chest and neck markings are identical too, it's just this black leg is making me thing it is not the same dog :( Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The BDH dog was not Alfie Owner has spoken again to the Council after lodging a complaint and got to speak to the person that dealt with the dog in the rta. They gave a description of a dog that could have been Alfie but they haven't kept the collar which may have identified the dog. They also said they had no other details. Alfie was also microchipped. This is a dreadful situation because owner cannot really have closure without definitely knowing the rta dog was Alfie. She is still looking out for him and posters are still up locally. Owner has been told of a dog in a fatal RTA the day Alfie went missing. People witnessing the accident said it was him but the police and council said they didn't find a chip. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
