- Great news. So happy for her owners. Stay close now Flo:-) xxx It maybe that she was chased out of her own territory, by a more dominant cat, and became lost, and disorientated; it can happen. This is why it`s very important to get cats microchipped., as Flo is; easier then to get your cat reunited.

- Sorry that Flo is missing....please follow these tips
Check all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars THOROUGHLY as some cats will hide in or behind an object within especially if timid. Cats can stay very still, and quiet in certain circumstances. They are renowned for it. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines which rotates, so they can squeeze into very small spaces (About 2"/3" wide 7/7.5cm) So has she managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exit can be difficult; depends on the drop. Check trees; any deckings too. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as her scent will be there; litter tray contents too. PLEASE DO NOT leave the litter box/tray out as other cats may use it, and it could confuse, and upset the cat. Put some tuna/sardines or chicken in her dish, and call him; night/early morning is best. Rattle some treats too. (Just because you can`t see a cat, it doesn`t mean they aren`t around) Place her UNWASSHED blanket into a clean container along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe her scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Take a good walk around the area, holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies, someone maybe feeding her. (Common problem). When it`s nightfall, and you are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. If possible post in shops; post offices too. And is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of their own territory. And the chased cat will not return until they think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in case she has climbed into a vehicle. which isn`t that uncommon for cats to do.
