- As there has been sightings, someone maybe feeding him. or think he is a stray. People don`t always bother to get a cat scanned for a microchip. Is there a dominant cat in the area? as sometimes they will try to stop a cat returning to their own territory. Keep trying the traps, and hope Bertie will be home very soon. All xd.

- Bertie is still missing. Wildlife camera and cat traps have been used following possible sightings but none proved to be him sadly.

- It maybe that Bertie has become confused. Has the scent of the owner, and Bertie been placed in the traps? UNWASHED piece of Bertie`s blanket, and maybe piece of old T shirt of the owner or used pillow case used by owner (UNWASHED). Cats have a very good sense of smell from quite a way off. Paws xd.Last edited: 2021-01-14 11:10:16

- Bertie is still missing despite using two cat traps and a wildlife camera. Last possible sighting Asda car park Sunday 10th Jan.

- Thank you for suggesting, but my sister confirms the Dartford cat is not Bertie. We had another Facebook sighting of Bertie on Sunday in St Anne’s Close, Andover, very near the previous sighting. A cat trap has gone in today.

- Cats that "Escape" like this will usually find refuge in someone`s garden near where he ran away from. Poster around THAT area, and any shops nearby, as well as posting flyers through doors there too. Post in post offices if you can. Also when searching for Bertie take with you his UNWASHED blanket, and rattle some Dreamies. At the same time wear the same deodorant you use on a day to basis as he will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. Of course take with you his car carrier. If you search at nightfall, take with you a strong torch as it will reflect a cats eyes. The best time to search for cat is night/early morning; but keep safe. If all else fails you could borrows a cat trap from Cat Protection for maybe a small donation. They will show you how to use it. Paws xd.

- Thank you for the advice. Bertie is still missing but we had a possible sighting in Willow Grove on Wed 6th Jan and are leafleting and searching the area daily.

- So sorry Bertie is missing. Do keep searching for him in the area around the vets where he escaped as he is highly likely to stay in this location. Especially check out the displaced missing cat tips and the missing indoor cat tips. Have shared to Lost Cat Support Group x https://www.facebook.com/groups/723478101020795
