- Would like to comment although this dog has been found shot and killed recently a Rough Collie has been found shot dead so a total of four dogs have been found shot.
This Golden Retriever, Collie, German Shepherd and now a Rough Collie
Surely the Police and RSPCA (or Ireland’s version) need to open an investigation into finding the culprit before more dogs are killed. Serial dog killer on the loose - 2021-01-25 17:23 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

Sadly more bad news. This week we found Belle my golden retriever shot dead in a field not far from where we found Meg. A tall man in a white van told a neighbour he shot a dog because she was standing beside “a dead sheep” in the field. However, she was shot in a crop field far away from any sheep. There were no sheep attack reports made to the psni or warden/council. I spoke to all farmers, none of them had any hassle with sheep and were surprised as there are no sheep around that area.
We cannot seem to track down this trigger happy tall man in a white van. All we know is this man didn’t own this dead sheep he claims to have seen, he didn’t own the land he was shooting on and he didn’t report the shooting to the psni or warden.
It is very likely he also shot Meg and dumped her body in a ditch (see below) but on a different day than when he shot Belle. Most likely using a hunting rifle. Both dogs were found on the Drumnahunshin road, Whitecross close to the Kingsmills crossroads
