Dexter has been missing 4 years today 💔 Update on FB

DEXTER - LONG TERM MISSING/STOLEN 💔

4 years ago Dexter vanished and our lives changed forever.



What followed was months of tireless on-ground searching, sleepless nights, constant phone calls, following up every possible sighting near us, handing out thousands of leaflets and posters, and doing everything we could think of to try and find something that would lead us to him. But we were never alone, and all these years later and we are still supported by Dexter’s army with eyes peeled across the country for him. I will never recover the feeling of not knowing what’s happened to our boy, but the amount of support we are surrounded by through this group keeps me pushing on. We’ll never be able to thank you all enough for what you have all done for us & Dexter over the last 4 years.

Dexter disappeared whilst on a walk in Hogback Woods, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, HP9 area on 14/01/21. He is an adult male Fox Red Labrador, neutered and microchipped with his details up to date. He would now be 11 and should be living out his golden years at home with his family 💔



There is a £5000 reward for Dexter’s safe return. This is a heartfelt appeal, if you think you know something, please just do the right thing.

Almost 4 years ago our heartbreak began, the vanishing of our beloved Dexter and years of not knowing what happened to him, the hole in our family that has never been filled, and pain.

As we come into 2025 we are still hoping we might get answers…or possibly a miracle and we see our boy again.

Dexter vanished from Hogback Woods, Beaconsfield, HP9 area on 14th January 2021. We have had NO 100% confirmed sightings of him since. He is a male Fox Red Labrador, NEUTERED and MICROCHIPPED. His 11th birthday is in December so he will look older than our photos now.

Please can we get as many shares as possible this Christmas? We are just desperate for some sort of answer to what happened to Dexter 💔

Thank you Bon, we checked out the Red Labrador found by the SPCA and confirmed not Dexter. So sad for the poor boy but thankful it's not our Dex.

I’m only making yous aware if not already. A Male red fox Labrador retriever was found last week in painful condition, and consequently he died. The post was Scottish SPCA......please God it’s not. But please check..

UPDATE: Morning everyone, I’d just like to outline our plan for today. Based on what we know so far he is making an appearance at a certain area on Gregories Road. Based on the advice we’ve been given, our plan is to situate ourselves in that area in our car. It would be most helpful if you could avoid that road on foot and when out searching as we will have it covered.

What would be most helpful would be general walking (with no calling of his name) in Hogback Woods and surrounding area. To reiterate, if you do see him he is likely to be extremely scared so it’s more about sighting him and calling us immediately on the numbers below
