Can someone confirm whether still missing or if found please? A facebook post from years ago started doing the rounds again. I asked OP to update the pic description to say "still missing 2024" (or not) and the post has been removed, along with hundreds of shares? The fb page is still "Get Indy Home" with no updates. TIA.

From Matt, Indy’s owner....

It's been 2 months today since Indy went missing.

Still no sign of him and no new sightings.

Unfortunately I have no news to post, but please keep sharing Indy's picture around and please keep messaging me if you see anything that could be related to Indy. I'm still following up every lead that is sent to me, thankyou.

UPDATE from Matt, Indy’s owner...
Felt like I needed to post an update even though there isn't much to say.

There was 4 sightings of a beagle in Marham on Sunday 21st February, but since then there's been no sightings at all and no beagle picked up in the area. It's likely the beagle either moved out of the area, or the beagle belonged to someone local and it made its own way home.

We're back to square one in that we're basically just waiting for a sighting or for Indy to show up on a selling page. A lot of people have been sending me Facebook posts of Beagles that have been found. So far none of them have been Indy but thankyou for sending them and please keep sending them. I don't have time to reply to all of them, but I do look at all of them. Hopefully eventually one of these beagles will be Indy.

Again, if somebody is reading this post and they have Indy, please get in touch. Ring me on a withheld number on 07538016574 and we will arrange payment of however much you want for him, and we can arrange a way for him to be handed over. Indy is priceless to me, and any amount of money will be paid to bring him home. I miss him.

If you think you know who has Indy, and can give me information that leads to Indy being found, there is a £1000 reward that will be paid to you. All you need to do is make a phone call or send a Facebook message. Your identity won't be passed on to anybody. And as soon as Indy is recovered the money will be paid.

I continue to look every day and will post an update when I get one. https://www.facebook.com/101502451955781/posts/115742497198443/

UPDATE from Indy’s owner...
I've been over Marham tonight to have a look for the beagle that was sighted. Unfortunately it was dark by the time we got there so we didn't have much luck.

However there's been 4 sightings of a beagle in and around Marham today. The beagle isn't confirmed to be Indy, but the fact that nobody else has come forward and said they've lost their dog means there's a chance its him. And the timeframe that Indy has been missing means it is possible that he could have travelled that distance in the last 5 weeks.

I've passed on the times and locations of the sightings to a dog tracker who will go out and search for him tomorrow. If you're in the Marham area please keep an eye out, but don't go out calling his name as this may scare him and cause him to run out of the area. If you see the beagle, please don't try to approach it. The best approach is to sit still and let the dog come to you. If it moves away from you, please don't try and chase it.

I'm in work most of the day now until Thursday evening, but if you catch any sightings or hear any more info please contact me ASAP and I'll reply as soon as I can.

Thanks.

From Indy's facebook group.....
After weeks of no sightings, a lady has seen a dog a couple of hours ago matching Indys description running near a road in a wooded area between Narborough and Marham.
This has been posted on local Facebook groups in the area and so far nobody has come forward to say it is their dog that is missing, and given the length of time Indy has been missing, he could have very well travelled that far from home by now.
If you live in that area, or have friends or family in that area, please spread the word to keep an eye out. It's a slim chance, but it could be Indy https://www.facebook.com/.../a.106823991.../113573850748641/

UPDATE ON INDY from Matt, Indy's owner...
After taking advice we've decided to take the £500 reward off of Indy. There has been a sighting in the last 24 hours around the March area, which gives us hope that he hasn't been stolen. However we don't want too many people out searching for him and calling his name as this could potentially scare him off further. If he was going to come out from hiding and approach somebody, he would have done it by now.
The help and support so far has been absolutely amazing ❤ I've been out searching non stop all weekend and spoke to a lot of people who have been out searching for Indy so thankyou to everyone who has gone out. However, I now need to do my best Boris Johnson impression and say, please now DO NOT go out for the sole purpose of trying to find Indy. We want to keep the searching area as quiet as possible so we have more chance of luring him out of wherever he is hiding.
If you spot a beagle running around loose on your travels, please still contact either myself on 07538016574 or Shelley Munns on 07718656222, to help us narrow down the search area or track his movements.
We have a good idea of the area he could be in, so hopefully he'll be home soon. But right now the less people who are out in that area the better. Thankyou ❤
