- YIPEEEEEEE ! I am just over the moon to hear that Watson is home again ! To lose your dog is any owners nightmare but to also lose your dog 100 miles from home must be so traumatic. What an ordeal he must have been through and I am just so glad he has been found safe and sound. He must be so happy to be back curled up in the warm at home. Well done to the kennels for making the match ! Welcome home gorgeous Watson and please stay safe from now on xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Watson (ID 16,383) has been re-united with his owner! I can’t seem to
change the status on the website. Would you be able to do that for me
please?
He was picked up yesterday (6/1/9) in the Easington Area (near Durham)
and taken to StrayAid at Coxhoe, County Durham. They had seen the
posters and checked his microchip and my mum and I picked him up today
He is now curled up on the sofa by the fire. He has lost a bit of
weight and has sore paws but is happy to be home. Relief all round
really.
Thanks ever so much for you support, help and advice.
Best wishes,
Ian - 2009-01-05 23:29 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West
- Fingers crossed these sightings are Watson and we see him home soon. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- There have been some possible sightings of Watson on Saturday 3rd and again today. This dog if it is Watson is running scared and will not go near anyone. The sightings have been at Seaburn and Fulwell which are on the North side of the river which means if t is him he has crossed the river via a bridge as he initially ran off on the south side of the river. His owners have had to return home now but have left a lot of posters up and are still contacting dog wardens and stray kennels regularly. Please anyone in this area keep a look out for Watson. xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Have just spoken to Watsons owners and there has been no definite sightings or news of this boy since he ran off. I have advised that they try to poster further afield in case he ran for some distance when he slipped his collar. As he has not turned up at local stray kennels he may well be hiding up somewhere or have been taken in by someone and we desperately need some sightings of him. His owner has placed an advert in the local paper and is hopeful they will run an article on this lovely boy who is missing so far from home. Many thanks to fudgebaby for the help you are giving these owners xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Fudgebaby pleaase do help these owners if you can. They really do need help as he has been lost 100miles from home. I have advised them to check at local stray kennels to make sure he is not there but this may be difficult for them to do in the situation they have found themselves in. I am sure any help you can give will be most gratefully received. Pam xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Fudgeybaby, owner may be having problems posting on the page. If you send them a text sure they will reply or ring you back and explain exactly where he has gone missing from. I've sent you an email and attached various size posters in case you are able to hand out especially the small ones to walkers etc. If you know anyone who you could forward them onto please do so also any rescues in the area. Thanks again for your offer of help. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- A4 poster and smaller posters emailed to family. Hope they help in the search for Watson, after the Holiday period they may get good news that he has been found. Good luck and fingers crossed he is in the BLUE soon. Posters also emailed to NE Co-ordinators. If anyone is able to help with the posters by spreading the word please let us know and they can be emailed to you. Thanks Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I have spoken with Watson's owners this morning. He slipped his collar and ran off whilst on a walk 100 miles from home !! It is hoped a photo can be sent into us ASAP. His owner has been contacting local stray kennels and vets but so far has not been able to contact dog wardens. She has left her car and Watsons water bowl near to where he ran off in the hope he returns there and she has walked this area searching for him. Hoping for some news of this boy very soon xx PamLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
