- Post from Musselburgh Folks FB page...."Hello everyone.
It has been discovered that the amazing team that have been helping us search for Wyzel, my friends missing dog has sadly had one of their cameras STOLEN from the Grove area Musselburgh, where it was placed.
Please note the camera is a H45 similar to the one in the photo and even had a padlock around it so someone went to alot of trouble to take this camera.
If you see this camera for sale or being offered local anywhere then please get in touch. It's of no use to anyone else without a pin number but this team rely on their equipment to help with the searches.
This team kindly volunteers their time in helping owners search for their missing dogs and to have their equipment taken in this way is awful and out of order. Plus this is one camera less now able to monitor the area for the search of Wyzel. ☹
Please contact me privately if you see this camera or know who took it.
Thank you - 2021-02-02 15:07 GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland
- Thank you Debbie123 and thedogfinder - I have alerted Wyzel's owner via the post on Drone SAR for Lost Dogs UK and will let you know the response.
UPDATE: Wyzel's owner has said that she is still believed to be in the local area so will not be one of the dogs seized by TVP.Last edited: 2021-02-02 15:33:55 by GeoffA - Area Volunteer - Cornwall, Scotland & Northumberland - 2021-02-02 14:48 thedogfinder
- I agree with Debbie123, the dog to the right of the photo with it's head back could be Wyzel, although can't see from left paw properly to see if there is any white on it - please do contact the Police as the dogs will now be with them I presume [if not chipped to the 2 men they arrested]- the Facebook page is here, if you scroll down you will see the post with photos, 7 dogs were found plus offensive weapon and the vehicle they were in was stolen too - https://www.facebook.com/TVPSouthandVale/

- Have u seen one of the 7 dogs removed this morning from a horrible person out ‘game hunting’ posted in fb page TVP South Oxon and Vale of White Horse ( and also reposted on Dogs found in U.K. fb page - so looks like your dog

- Thanks Doglost but the found dog is a chihuahua and listed under the found section at https://doglost.co.uk/dog-blog.php?dogId=164089 so not Wyzel.
