Thank you for your kind coments Millys mum, Brock is unrepentant and lapping up the attention he is getting.  My other Jack Russel Mille! is very glad to see him home. It is heart breaking to see other dogs so sad when you cannot explain were their best friend is.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

JC, oh my! Brock still looks so young - what an absolute little cutie. No wonder you and your family worked so hard to get him back - WELL DONE - we're all so happy for you. It's also great news that you wish to stay on and help. It was also lovely to hear that you were able to thank the lorry driver - was he a local man? You wanting to stay on as a Helper is especially important as you can spread the word of how very important those posters are. I don't think owners always believe us when we mention poster power and the need to get out there with a many as possible and as soon as you can. It's so imperative that not a moment is lost, especially in the early days. Wishing you all (especially little Brock!) a very happy and healthy New Year!

JC, as you are now registered with DL you can stay on as a helper posting advice to owners who are in the situation you were in when Brock was missing.  You and your family have an extra reason to celebrate the New Year with your cute little boy being back home.  This is what makes it worthwhile to everyone on DL when we see dogs going into the BLUE.  May 2009 be another successful year.  Jan x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thank you for all your kind messages, have managed to pass on thanks to the lorry driver and thanks to you all with the poster poster messages, everyone we met had seen the posters and  were looking out for Brock, actually the pictures were taken not long ago he just looks that cute.   Is there any way that I can become a helper with your group? Until I came across your website I had no idea how many dogs went missing,I would be glad if i could help?  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So very pleased to hear that Brock is back home safe and sound thanks to the lovely lorry driver. How kind of him to go out of his way to help your little lad. Did he leave his contact details at the pub to enable you to thank him - hope so? What an adorable puppy Brock was (I presume one photo was him as a puppy) and as for the other one of him sitting in a bucket of water... well that really made me laugh out loud. Was he trying to cool off - funny boy! Welcome home Brock!

JC this is brilliant news, so little Brock had stayed quite close to the point that he had got lost from which is normal behaviour. A massive thank you to the kind lorry driver who picked him up and called you and left him at a place of safety for you tgo collect. Once again the posters have been the key to getting Brock home. Your donation will help us continue to help other owners so 'THANK YOU'  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

We go back to that area everyday, I have left a towel under a bush that our other dog has been rubbed in and I have had tucked into my coat to get a scent.  We live about 5 miles away.  Do dogs try to go home? Just no sightings at all there are vast woods all around that people walk ride and jog around and we have notices everywhere and leaflets on peoples cars.  Feeling very low at the momentLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
