- Bonnie is safely home! Welcome home Bonnie. Email from owner - Bonnie turned up late on Monday night making her way back home along the road a few miles away. Another spaniel owner on his way home from work, slowed down and opened the passenger door and she promptly jumped in and laid down ready for a lift ! having been out chasing deer for 8 hours she was fairly tired out and in need of a bath, but other than sore eyes and feet, in working order ! - Hi Steve, sorry to see Bonnie is missing. Do you have a photo of her that you can upload to her page or alternatively send to admin@doglost.co.uk? This will help us all to know exactly what she looks like, as well as completing her poster which can be downloaded from the Dog Poster 1 link at the top of her page. If you haven't already done so, please inform all local council dog wardens. What council do you fall under? I see from the map you are very close to Suffolk so please do ensure these local ones are contacted too. Also notify local kennels, vets etc. I presume the area she is missing from is very rural. Dogs will often return to the area they went missing from so it is advisable to leave some clothing with your scent or Bonnie's on in the area - will be a familiar smell to her. Then the other really important thing is to poster the area - all the locals and people passing through need to know she is missing so they can be on the look out. Ensure local farms, stables etc are aware. Bonnie may well have found herself a cozy out building to bed down in. Please do keep us and local helpers updated by adding comments to her page. Once you get some sightings come in we can advise on scenting and other things to try. Does she know this area i.e. is it close to home at all? Good luck and hoping to see Bonnie home very soon. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
