Part of email from Leigh Cats & Dogs Home: I've checked through all the Jack Russells which have been brought in since the beginning of September this year and had a look at their photos. None are even close to Tilly I'm afraid. We will, of course, display the poster and keep our eyes peeled for her and get in touch if we hear anything.

Updated various size posters from the other time Tilly was on DL now done and emailed to owner with further advice/info.  I have rung a few times but no answer.   Email sent to Leigh Cats &Dog's Home and RDR to see if she may have gone through them and been rehomed.  Jan x

New registration ID 20888 will be DELETED Tried to contact owner no answer, she first went missing on 29.12.08.   Must stress if she has been missing since September and gone through rescue she could have now been legally rehomed.  Jan x

kbergin, thanks for the update. It is common for dogs to behave in this way.  I've lost a dog myself and it took him a while to get back to normal, he was very subdued and fighting his sleep.  It is a very traumatic time for them when they are lost.  Tilly will need lots of TLC and you should offer her food a little but often.  I will try and ring you later when home from work to see how things are.  Getting the news that it was her in Leigh was a great start to 2009.  Jan x

we are so grateful for all of your help with getting tilly home, she was found on a street thats a 2 minute walk from our house but across a very very busy road! thanks 2 leigh dogs home who looked after her for the 5 days she was away, unfortunatly her adventure hasnt had a good effect, tilly is now very timid and wont eat or drink much, we are encouraging her to eat etc but she's having none of it, hopefully she'll come round in the next few days if not we are takin her the vets as tilly used to be so lively and playfull and now she just sleeps in her bed all the time, and since she left us she has become incredibly thin :(, i'll keep you updated and lets hope shes back 2 her old self in no time, once again thanks soo much jan xxx

Spoke to one very happy family earlier this afternoon, it was Tilly in Leigh.  She is now back HOME and will getting CHIPPED and SPAYED a.s.a.p.  Owners are over the moon.  This has made my day have been waiting to confirm it was her since speaking to Leigh late on New Years eve.  Brilliant day for the reunited, hope to see more moving into the BLUE soon.  Welcome home to the cute little Tilly and thanks again to Leigh.  Jan x

Leigh Dog & Cat's Home have rang back, they say it does look like Tilly.  I've spoken to owners and they are going there to check and fingers crossed Tilly will be on her way home today.  Owners will let us know asap.  Good luck.  Jan x Thank you to Leigh D&C Home for getting back to us.

A4 poster and smaller ones including information emailed to kbergin.  Will have to wait until Friday to see if the one in Leigh is Tilly, they were having problems with their internet connection.  Jan x

Just spoken to Leigh Dog & Cats Home, they have a dog fitting Tilly's description picked up in the PR5 area, I've emailed a poster, waiting for them to confirm if they think it is her.  They are due to close shortly until Friday.  Fingers crossed.  Have passed info onto owner but will still send posters etc incase it is not Tilly.  Jan x

Have spoken to owner and given advice, will email usual posters and further information.  Tilly has gone missing from their home.  Unfortunately a lot of places that require contacting are now closed until after the New Year.  Owner has tried to contact some, gave contact numbers of other places to try.  Jan x

kbergin, sorry to see Tilly is missing.  Thanks for registering her details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.   Great you have supplied a photo of her.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in). Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update us on the circumstances of how she has gone missing, is it from home or on a walk?   Can you also let us know who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan x
