- Well done Mollychops..brilliant work...just waiting now to see if it is Chilli..but sounds very promising...this lady had looked after Chilli for just two weeks, so where has Chilli been for the two weeks before hand?
Owner had searched in Wiltshire, Chilli (although was just probably a couple of miles away ) was in Gloucestershire, the Wilts DW was informed but not the Glos DW (although I sent an email but we did not have a photo then) so it just goes to show how important it is that ALL DW's are informed in at least a 30 mile radius...as well as posters (we always say Poster, Poster, Poster!) ... as the very kind lady that found Chilli did not see a poster, she had called the Glos DW and also let people know in the vacinity Chilli was found.
Chilli lives near a main road so we can only guess (if this is her) that she was picked up outside the house and eventualy left at the Water Park...she was in good condition.
If only they could talk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18 - 2009-01-30 18:50 Mollychops

- copied e mail from owners:
We will be sending a picture within 24 hours
Just uploading soon. We have searched under buildings ect and have had friends with a pack of terriers to search all areas of local building and rabbit holes
But we had no find.
WE are looking everyday.
Also we have the dogs mother but she is not interested in any areas where the dogs usually are
That?s why we believe she could have been picked up.

- We also need to knowsome more details. What is the breed of your dog and is it male or female please. Also please give us details of tail, coat length and type. we would also like to know how your dog came to be missing and we will advise you further. Once we have a photo on site, your poster will be ready. You will be able to view and print it by clicking on Dog poster 1 above the dogs detail boxes. You will need to contact your Dog wardens and pounds, police and vets in the area in case Chilli is handed in. Details for the dog wardens etc can be found on your council website. Please do check with them as soon as offices are open again and visit your pounds as sometimes in the case of cross breed dogs they are not recognised by a description given over the telephone. dogs may also be moved on or re-homed if not claimed after only seven days. You need to get a crime number from the police if you feel the dog has been stolen and poster immediately, both in the area of loss, and further away - basically wherever lots of people go. You may need hundreds of posters before you get the call you want. I cannot stress to you enough how important it is to get those posters out there with your contact number on. Good Luck with the search, and do upload the photo, and leave us a comment. Thanks. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
