- Ex partner or not this is theft. Assume police aware? As you need a CRN (Crime reference number) Police coordinators on this site will advise. Poster around all surrounding area, and post flyers through as many doors as you can; where, and when you can. Post in shops; post offices too if possible. Post a STOLEN DOG ad in a NATIONAL newspaper too. Ask family. friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too.
