Chip is now safely home.
It has been a real rollercoaster. He was spotted on a selling site, then owner was subjected to cruel 'fake' texts.
He was made too hot to handle & finally dumped around 70 miles from home.
I would also like to thank the various people who made it possible to get him home. Messages were passed last night & eventually owner spoke to Mick Robinson & his 'Get Sky Home' transport unit, and he was able to help. (owner doesn't drive)

I’ve forwarded the email to the police liaison at dog lost - I’ve also responded to the selling site with screenshot of the dog for sale which they said they will now revisit to get the information ( which they asked for) they have said they will be happy to pass the information they obtain onto the police - so assume owner has now reported dog as stolen and has relevant Crime Reference number - you potentially have an opportunity here - but think you need to act fast and pressure the authorities- good luck

I’ve heard back from the selling site and it’s a positive response but they need the owner to contact them - I would like to forward the email with their response and what they need from them on to somebody - who can I forward it to - this is now urgent - would somebody please supply an email of phone number so we can get this moving

I have screenshots - of him

I have emailed the selling site telling them what has happened and await their response

I’m sure the police or police liaison officer could contact the selling site as the person is a premium member and for that you have to pay and supply information - she has been a member for 4 years - as the dog is not hers it is against their rules to sell somebody’s else’s dog and I’m sure even under data protection and with police involvement they will be able to supply that information - please let me know where I can email screen shots of what I have

Are there any updates on Chips circumstances? His owner has told me she doesnt have a leg to stand on getting him back from the person trying to sell him on for £1500!!
