From trawling through FB comments sections it seems Nala was found on the street by someone and handed in. Sounds like she may have been 'too hot to handle' and released by the thief, but more information is always welcome when people have been working so hard to spread the word.

How relieved the owners must be. This was fantastic news to hear. Information on whether there is an investigation to who took her and how she was reunited wld be much appreciated, especially with the amount of time & effort people have made online and on the ground to get her back. And I pray her return did not mean soneone is £3000 richer.

1 week ago . . . 7 long days Nala has been missing - Stolen in a van with 2 other dogs who have since been reunited

⭐️ HER FAMILY ARE NOW OFFERING A FINDERS FEE FOR INFORMATION LEADING TO HER SAFE RETURN ⭐️

If you know anything, have bought Nala or have seen her please let us know

If you’re worried and have her, please just drop into any vet or animal rescue saying you found her - she just needs to be home!!

Someone has suggested owner look at this link on a selling site - I think fur on head is too long (?) - plus I’m sure Nala has just been clipped? - but thought worth owner checking just in case. The theft of the van took place in Prospect Rd, New Barnet EN5 - the van was subsequently sighted in Oakleigh Park N11 before being abandoned in Winchmore Hill. One dog, Kayla was still in the van [as Karen has reported below]

van was subsequently sighted Oakleigh Park, N11. The van is registration number YG14 KWW - it's a white Ford Transit van with silver & purple paws on the side. Nala is inside with the other two dogs, a Saluki/Lurcher Cross and a Tibetan Terrier - please phone the police if you see this van - the van has a broken drivers mirror which is held together with a lot of sellotape - photos on my tweet.

On Twitter there is a photo of all 3 dogs taken - and says theft was from van in Propect Road Barnet which is EN5 / New Barnet area
