Update from Emily; Leon’s owner:

Hello everyone! We had a call from James and Emma Drewett this morning saying they had clocked him in a field, asleep in a hedge. They tried to get him to come to them but he was scared. We went there and literally walked round the fields til we found him. He is a bit skinny but is in good condition. Suspect he was in someone’s house - he smells like he has been - and they dumped him when they saw all the publicity. He’s very happy to be home and we are very glad he is safe and well. Massive thanks to absolutely everyone for putting up posters, going out looking, sharing posts. Everything! We especially want to thank James and Emma, Nicky McCarthy, Karen Harding, Shelley Duff and Megan Ginter without all of you, we’d probably have gone mad over the last week and a bit xxx

Amazing news Leon is back home. He was found loose this morning in area lost

I'm sure this is a very slim chance of a match but there was a report on NextDoor this morning that a large slim smooth haired dog was loose on Frieth Rd, direction of Marlow, mainly on grass verges, not far from turning to Bovingdon Green. I've seen a few posters of Leon around town and have shared the details of this online entry just in case. This is the post: https://nextdoor.co.uk/p/JCqY6szMP8gD?view=detail

Updated to stolen upon receipt of CRN from Thames Valley Police

The police have spoken to the gamekeeper and they agree that Leon has been stolen.
They have given us a CRN number, and I have alerted the chip company.
Emily_B
We have made contact with a local gamekeeper, who is convinced he saw the dog with a blonde haired lad on Coldharbour Lane, on Friday at 3:15 pm. We have had no sightings after this one, so we suspect that Leon has been taken.
If anyone saw a blonde haired lad along Winchbottom Lane with Leon, either walking or waiting for/getting a lift please get in contact.

Request from owner
Hi all. Thank you for sharing my posts and keeping an eye out for Leon, my dog, who is missing. Please could I ask if anyone with a similar looking dog to mine - a pale colour lurcher - were walking them in the vicinity of Winchbottom Lane/Coldharbour Lane on Friday afternoon between 3pm to 3.30pm? Could you get in touch if you were please?
Alison
Shared on Marlow Wombles FB and personal fab site asking others to share. Please don’t give up - I’ve been in this situation and we all came through it, our very timid dog was found and returned to us. All the very best to you.
