Great to see Jasper is now back home.  Would be nice to now have a photo so we can see what he looks like.  He will soon be back to normal when he has settled back home with lots of TLC.  Welcome home Jasper.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Yasa for posting up the good news for me! So pleased when missing_dog called to say Jasper had been caught. There had been a few sightings up by the Golf course but he was actually caught back up the Ashingdon Rd, more in the direction he first went missing from. He is okay, quite shaken up but there has been a lot of change for him recently so that with the escape its hardly suprising! With lots of TLC he will settle back down I am sure. Welcome back Jasper! And missing_dog is kindly going to stay on as a helper too. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

'missing_dog' has had a look at the similar photos and for the time being this is the most similar we can find. Jasper has some white on his face also and possibly more black legs.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jasper slipped his collar around 3.30pm this afternoon in the Brays Lane area. He headed towards and was seen around the Golden Cross junction in Ashingdon/Rochford and another possible sighting further along near the Jet Garage. Dog warden, vets, kennels etc been informed. Jasper is a rescue dog and had only been there a few days so no photo. Have emailed some similar dog photos from DogLost's photo library to 'missing_dog' to see if any are suitable for use on his poster. He is not full GSD size, bit smaller, mainly black with some white on face and body - almost Collie looking. Doesn't know the area at all and is fairly nervy. I have alerted local helpers and friends in the area who will all be on the look out. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

So sorry Jasper is missing. We will do all we can to help. Local co-ordinator alerted. Will give owner a call. If a photo of Jasper could be uploaded as soon as possible for the poster please, or email it to admin@doglost.co.uk. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
