- Have been liaising with Bumpkin who has been a star. He went and got the details of Dory and took a photo which is not that clear he said. I was going to contact owners when I had finished dealing with other owners, Bumpkin rang with the brilliant news that they had found her late last night. Well done Bumpkin for all your hard work and WELCOME HOME Dory. Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thanks Bumpkin for the update, the text I sent was asking for the contact number of her owner, I was going to contact them, I will re-send it but will wait until later as just after midnight now. Maybe because she has been found they have not needed to register her. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Thank Jan - I haven't had a text though?!
Thanks to Reynard too - is there any way you can send me the scenting details? I'm generally interested.
It's a shame that Dory hasn't been registered yet - perhaps they've found her. I hope so, as it's well below freezing here tonight. I'll ring the owner tomorrow to see what's happening.
If she's still lost I'll try and get him to email me a picture and I'll log her as missing. There was a photo on the poster I saw, so they must have a digital one.

- Thanks Bumpkindogs do go back to where first ’lost’ after the first bit of running scared they then settle down and go back to what they know...we dont know the details so hope owner registers on here ( with a photo) and we can then email scenting instuctions and advice to help in their seach.

- Thanks Bumpkin, for alerting Admin and now registering to post an update, greatly appreciated. Will update the details, did think it would be Delamere Forest. Hope the owner does register her on DL and also supply a photo. Fingers crossed Dory is found soon and reunited. Bumpkin I've sent you a text. Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- I'm the person who saw this dog yesterday afternoon and called in. This morning there was a lost dog notice for the dog close to my home. I called the owner, who will post a lost dog notice on here later. The spaniel is female, and called Dory. Her home is in Alvanley and from my sighting yesterday, and speaking to the owner, it seems likely that she is in the Manley, Mouldsworth or Alvanley areas of Cheshire. I suppose it is possible that she may have retuned to where she was originally lost in Delamere Forest.
