I know Beckenham inside out but can't think of the roundabout you are describing. Do you mean the large so-called Chinese Garage roundabout (they sell Kia and Peugeot cars) near to Kelsey Park? I went into Kelsey Park yesterday but no sign of any posters whatsoever. I also told a dog-walking friend who walks her dogs in Croydon Road Rec (near to Beckenham Hospital - now called Beckenham Beacon) and also the Harvington Estate but nothing! How very strange. It's really so very unusual to come across stray dogs in Beckenham, let alone 2 stray puppies! Do you know if they were they taken to Battersea by SDK Environmental, the Council's contracted-out dog warden service?

tazmo, I live in Beckenham and knows loads of dog owners but have heard nothing about these two being found, which is odd. Do you happen to know where they were found in Beckenham? I haven't spotted any 'Missing' posters yet but will make a point of visiting Kelsey Park this afternoon and the nearby Harvington Estate to ask around.

A non-doggie person found these two and described them to me, so take colouring with a pinch of salt. I have guessed "brindle" from the description of "like light concrete, more like a reddish orangish concrete with bits in". They are both described as very cuddly. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
